Customized Training Courses
The Buenos Aires Training Center provides the opportunity to structure your own training program.
We offer customized training courses of varying lengths consisting of a combination of lectures,
theoretical classes, conferences, hands-on training and/or patient observation.
In this program, professionals can structure a program according to their needs,
and benefit from working alongside elite expert endoscopists.
Preceptorship
Personalized training of an external professional (trainee) who attends the Hospital Italiano in order to carry out a programmed learning in a specific assistance activity (preceptorship) during a determined period of time, that is, a theoretical and practical training where an experienced specialist (faculty) guides and supports the student to acquire and develop his/her skills in a specific pathology or therapeutic area with the aim of improving his/her knowledge, competences, skills and attitudes necessary to apply such techniques.
The activities are carried out by the professional in training under the direct and face-to-face supervision of the person in charge of teaching. Autonomy implies assuming increasing responsibilities in decision making under supervision.
Proctorship
Personalized supervised training with an expert instructor (proctor) of the Hospital Italiano with the purpose of supervising (proctorship) the performance of procedures or interventions through which practical skills and knowledge that the professional possesses for his practice in an autonomous way are confirmed.
Autonomy implies assuming increasing responsibilities in decision making under supervision. This direct and face-to-face supervision can be carried out after the preceptorship in our institution or at the external professional’s place of work.
